Oldenburg, 02.09.2024 - On January 1, 2025, the 43-year-old will return to Oldenburg as Managing Director of the Lower Saxony Port Marketing Company.
Onnen-Lübben had prevailed among a large number of applicants in the selection process, for which a specialized personnel consultancy had been commissioned. She left Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH and the management position at her own request in 2018 and has since developed her skills in various positions in the port and logistics industry. For example, the industrial engineering graduate was operationally responsible for the development of automotive logistics activities at the Wilhelmshaven site for three years and, most recently, as Managing Director of the inland port and industrial park c-Port Küstenkanal, was primarily responsible for company relocation and the strategic expansion of port activities.
“Inke Onnen-Lübben has the necessary knowledge of the complex interrelationships in the port industry and the corresponding market expertise as well as a broad network to successfully position Lower Saxony's seaports on the market. We are delighted that we have been able to win her back for the management of our port marketing company,” explained Michael de Reese, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH.
Until the handover on January 1, 2025, Andreas Bullwinkel will continue to manage the company, which has been a successful public-private partnership between the state of Lower Saxony and Lower Saxony's private port industry for 20 years, on an interim basis.
