Presentation of industry solutions by Seaports of Niedersachsen and Niedersachsen Ports at the “WindEurope” trade fair in Copenhagen
Oldenburg, April 03, 2025 | When it comes to logistics for the wind energy industry, the seaports of Niedersachsen are true all-rounders. From handling extra-long, heavy and sensitive components for the construction of wind turbines, to storage, (pre-)assembly and transport services, to supply services for wind farms, the companies in the seaports offer a wide range of services for the onshore and offshore wind energy industry. The industry event “WindEurope”, which will take place in Copenhagen from April 8 to 10, will be used by Niedersachsens port industry to provide targeted information about innovative solutions.
High-performance seaports are essential for the success of the energy transition in Germany and the expansion of wind energy. In Niedersachsen, this was recognized early on and the needs of the wind energy industry were met - with heavy-duty port infrastructure, handling and storage facilities and innovative logistics concepts.
Seaports of Niedersachsen and Niedersachsen Ports will once again jointly present this “complete package” and all current developments at the three-day “WindEurope” trade fair in Copenhagen. The trade fair stand in Hall D, stand number D-A30, will serve as a meeting point for numerous players from the port industry and logistics in Niedersachsen to exchange ideas with customers and business partners.
The “WindEurope” trade fair, which is expected to attract around 15,000 trade visitors, is regarded as one of the most important events in the European wind energy sector.
