Nieddersachsens ports shine at transport logistic in Shanghai
The ports of Niedersachsen presented themselves impressively at transport logistic China in Shanghai. For three days, they provided a central point of contact for visitors from the logistics industry.
The joint stand of "German Ports" covered a total area of 120 square meters and provided visitors with comprehensive insights into the diverse services and offers of the ports of Niedersachsen. The Seaports team was accompanied by the companies J.MÜLLER Weser GmbH & Co. KG, MOSOLF Port Logistics & Services GmbH and Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort-Marketing GmbH & Co. KG.
"It is not only important for container traffic, but also increasingly for ro/ro and breakbulk customers to be able to meet our port representatives in person at transport logistic in Shanghai," explained Andreas Bullwinkel, Managing Director of Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH.
A particular highlight was the visit by the Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport, Dr. Volker Wissing, to the German Ports stand. The Minister was impressed by the strong presence and cooperative approach of the North German ports. The joint appearance of the "German Ports" fulfills an important point of the National Ports Concept, which calls for increased cooperation between the ports.
"Our joint presence as German Ports is once again proving to be correct and effective," emphasized Bullwinkel. The success of the trade fair presence in Shanghai shows that the North German ports are becoming more visible and competitive internationally thanks to their combined strengths and joint presence. This not only makes it possible to open up new markets, but also strengthens the position of the German ports as central logistics hubs in the global trade network.
