Once a year, the Niedersächsische Hafentag invited guests from politics, administration, business and the media to discuss the developments and prospects of the seaports of Niedersachsen.
Regular guest at the Hafentag is the respective Minister of Economic Affairs of Niedersachsen, who will lecture on the ports policy of the state government. For this purpose every year a guest speaker is invited who has a thematic connection with the host site.
The Niedersächsische Hafentag takes place annually since 1990 and is oriented in rotation in one of the nine port locations in Niedersachsen and organized by the Seaports of Niedersachsen and carried out.
From March 15th to 17th, the Intermodal South America, one of the largest expert meetings for freight transport, logistics and foreign trade, will take place in Sao Paulo. It is one of the leading trade fairs of its kind in Latin America. Brazil is still regarded as Germany's largest and most important trading partner in South America, while Germany is one of Brazil's most important European economic partners.
The seaports of Lower Saxony offer ideal location conditions, have many years of experience, especially with regard to the handling of agricultural goods, pulp, paper and other forest products, and can also fall back on generously and continuously expanded, covered storage areas. The Brazilian market also offers opportunities in the area of containerized goods, project cargoes and bulk goods such as Iron ores.

The Breakbulk Europe is a guest AHOI Rotterdam. Around 10,000 visitors come to this largest trade fair and conference in Europe for the loading of heavy and project cargoes. Breakbulk refers to general cargo that cannot be transported in containers due to its size, weight or quantity. These include large machines, wind turbines, steel products, forest products, vehicles or ships.
